Topics include taisabaki (body movement), basic and advanced technique, jiyuwaza (free technique), randori (multiple attackers), and weapons disarming. All students will learn Aikido at a level appropriate to their rank. All classes taught by John Goss Sensei.

Daito-ryu Aikijujutsu is a classical martial art tradition going back to the Samurai. It is the foundation on which Morihei Ueshiba developed Aikido. Although both arts are similar in the application of Aiki, Daito-ryu is more formal and structured than Aikido. Aiki Martial Arts Institute is the only authorized mainline Daito-ryu dojo in Maryland.
